One Community. One School.
As a community day school, we bring together a unique cross-section of families from Nashville’s Jewish community. Reform, Chabad, Orthodox, Conservative and unaffiliated individuals are included among our students, our faculty and staff, and our Board of Directors.
Akiva does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid, athletic and other administered programs. Akiva requires at least one Jewish parent or grandparent to be considered for admission.

The full cost of educating a child at Akiva is approximately $20,000 per year. Therefore, every child attending Akiva receives a substantial subsidy, thanks to the generosity of our donors, and the Jewish Federation of Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
